1. Do you sell VCI paper or poly film in sheet or bag form?
Yes, we are. Kindly let us know what the required sizes are.
2. How do I properly store unused VCI products to ensure maximum shelf life?
Keep VCI products in original and/or tightly sealed packaging stored inside and away from the elements. For best results, do not leave ARMOR VCI products out in an open environment, either indoors or outdoors. Keep VCI product in airtight plastic packaging to preserve VCI and protect the product from contamination due to water, moisture, dirt, debris, etc... Store VCI products under shelter, securely inside a shipping carton, external bag, box, or container, and out of direct sunlight.
3. Since VCI product will vaporize when exposed to the air, even indoors. If our staff leave VCI paper sheet at packing station without keeping it in an enclosed package. Will that VCI paper sheet loses its effectiveness in protecting metal parts?
After VCI paper has been exposed to the atmosphere for 24 hours, please remove the outside layer of paper from a roll or the top four sheets from a stack of cut sheets and dispose of them before using the rest of the product.
